
A Virginia State Trooper suffered minor injuries in a crash on Thursday morning. The crash occurred at the intersection of Broad and Webster Streets in South Boston.
Trooper R. Compton suffered minor injuries when his state vehicle was struck by a car that failed to yield at a stop sign at Broad and Webster Streets at approximately 8:06 am.
The Trooper has been treated and released from the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was air-lifted to Duke Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
