The Danville Neighborhood Development Corporation (DNDC) is proud to announce the ribbon cutting and open house for its latest renovation project: a beautifully restored 1928 Craftsman-style home located at 313 Kemper Road. The event will take place on Thursday, June 26 at 5:30pm and is open to the public, neighbors, and community partners.

This fully renovated property is a key milestone in DNDC’s multi-year effort to revitalize the Kemper Road corridor and expand workforce housing opportunities in Danville. The restoration preserves the home’s historic charm while providing modern, energy-efficient updates suitable for today’s families.

“This home represents more than a renovation—it’s a symbol of reinvestment and possibility,” said Wendi Everson, Executive Director of DNDC. “We’re working to transform Kemper Road into a vibrant, walkable corridor where families of all incomes can live, thrive, and take pride in their community.”

The open house will feature:

  • A ribbon cutting ceremony with remarks from community leaders
  • Tours of the restored home
  • Information on upcoming DNDC housing projects
  • Light refreshments

313 Kemper Road is one of several properties DNDC is transforming as part of its 2024–2027 Strategic Plan to address blight, restore housing stock, and expand access to affordable and workforce housing in historically disinvested neighborhoods.
