The second suspect arrested in a Danville shooting has been denied bond. On Friday, 26-year-old Tyleik Hanks was denied bond during a court appearance.
Hanks was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle, malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony for his role in the June 1st shooting. Hanks was the driver of the car that 22-year-old Jay’Shaun Tiejae White was shot and killed in.
During his court appearance, prosecutors said that video shows Hanks, White, and Juwan Baker firing shots as they drove by a party on Carver Drive. People at the party then returned fire. Multiple people were injured in the shooting. In total 16 guns were used during the shooting. Police are still investigating.
