Virginia State Police has issued a CODI Alert on behalf of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for a missing child and man. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing six-day-old infant, Bryson Gray Walker.

The child is believed to be in the custody of his grandfather, Ronnie Howell Jr., 45, of Rocky Mount. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

Howell is believed to be traveling in a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, which is either black or purple in color. The vehicle has Florida license plates, a silver toolbox in the truck bed, and a light bar mounted on the front fender.

Howell was last seen at 9 am off of Circle Creek Rd. in Penhook. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office does not believe the child is in danger, they are looking to locate both Howell and the baby to insure they are safe.
