(Collinsville, Va.) – Deputies with the Henry County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to the Infinity Smoke and Vape Shop at 2419 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville just before 2pm Wednesday afternoon for reports of a robbery.   According to an employee at the store a white male entered the business and demanded money.  The suspect kept one hand hidden in a pocket so the employee believed the individual was armed.  The suspect fled on foot after receiving and undisclosed amount of cash

Deputies who were in the area at the time the 911 call came in were able to respond quickly and take an individual matching the suspect’s description into custody without incident. The money was also recovered during the arrest.

The suspect is a 16 year old juvenile who’s name has not been released due to their age, but the individual has been charged with:

• Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-58 – Robbery
• Violation of Virginia Code Section: 18.2-422 – Concealment of identity

The juvenile has been transported to W.W. Moore Juvenile detention in Danville where he will remain until court proceedings get underway.
