A man has been arrested after shots were fired in Eden on Wednesday. According to the Eden Police Department, at 3:23 pm, officers were dispatched to a shots fired call in the area of E. Arbor Ln. and Linden Dr.
According to witnesses, a white SUV and a black SUV were involved in the incident. After an extensive investigation, the Eden Police Department has charged Javen Orlando Hairston, 23, of 258 Elaines Drive, Stoneville N.C., for the following:
• Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill (Felony)
• Possession of a Firearm by Felon (Felony)
• Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle (Felony)
Hairston was transported to the Rockingham County Jail where he is being held with No Bond. Hairston is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on May, 22nd, 2025 at 9:00 am.
