A custodian at a high school in Rockingham County has been arrested for inappropriate conduct with students. According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, on March 21, deputies received a report of inappropriate conduct and correspondence between a janitor at McMichael High School and students.

The investigation led to 28-year-old Gloria Holloway being charged with 1 count of Felony Disseminating an Obscenity to a Juvenile by presenting messages that depicted obscene writing or texts, and 1 count of Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor by aiding a juvenile in the obtaining and use of a vaping device. 

Holloway subsequently was relieved of her position by the Rockingham County School System shortly after being notified of the allegations, and investigation. Holloway was arrested and taken in front of the Magistrate and given a $1,000.00 unsecured bond. Holloway is set to appear in District Court on April 24.
