The Public Works Department has temporarily closed the exit from Danville Mall onto Piedmont Drive, across from Kickback Jack’s, due to a traffic signal malfunction at the intersection of Piedmont Drive and Old Mt. Cross Road. The entrance at this location remains open.

While technicians have restored most of the signal’s operation, an issue remains affecting the signal for vehicles exiting the mall. In the interest of public safety, the exit will remain closed until further evaluation Thursday morning.
