A Yanceyville man was arrested on rape and assault charges on Saturday. According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Pedro Jhovani Gomez Sanchez was arrested on a felony charge of second degree forcible rape and a misdemeanor charge of assault on a female.
Sanchez has been placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under no bond. His first court appearance will be on Wednesday at 9 am in Caswell County District Court.
