Martinsville Police have made an arrest in a homicide that occurred in 2023. On Tuesday, Martinsville Police Officers, along with the Greensboro Police Department and North Carolina Bureau of Criminal Investigations, made an arrest related to the July 9, 2023 murder of 20-year-old Nyjeon Brandon. 23-year-old Jahil Arman Martin, of Greensboro, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
Martinsville Police Chief Rob Fincher added that there will likely be additional arrests in the case, but it is unclear when that will occur. Police say that Martin and Brandon knew each other and they feel the homicide was premeditated.
