
Revenue at the Danville Casino increased in November by just over $1.5 million to just under $19.8 million. The increase comes in the last full month of operation at the temporary casino site..
Just over $14.5 million came from slots, while just under $5.3 million of the revenue was made from table games. Of the three casinos in Virginia, Caesars Virginia was second in revenue in November behind Rivers Casino Portsmouth at over $25.7 million and ahead of Hard Rock Bristol at just over $18 million.
The Caesars Virginia Resort and Casino will officially open at 12 pm on Tuesday, December 17. The opening event will feature a parade at 10:15 am that will start at the corner of Main St. and Craghead St. Five-time NBA Champion Dennis Rodman will be the Master of Ceremonies for the parade and will place the first bet at the Caesars Virginia Sportsbook.
Following the parade there will be remarks from Caesars Entertainment and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indian executives at 11 am. There will also be a fireworks and drone show starting at 8 pm.
