Balico, LLC will host a community engagement meeting next week to discuss the scaled down plans for the proposed data center they want to build in Pittsylvania County.

Balico, LLC (“Balico”) recently submitted a revised application to rezone more than 760 acres in the Banister District of Pittsylvania County. Balico’s proposal calls for the creation of a world-class data center campus with a dedicated, onsite 3,500 megawatt gas-fired power source. This power source would use the most advanced turbine technologies available and take advantage of existing Mountain Valley Pipeline infrastructure in the Banister District.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 18, from 5:30-7 pm at Hurt Elementary School located at 315 Prospect Road.
