One person was killed during a shooting in Danville on Wednesday night. The Danville Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 200 block of Fagan St.
Just before 10 pm Wednesday, officers responded to Fagan St. for a well-being check when they discovered a male lying in a driveway suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
33-year-old Azra Jermann Keene, of Danville, was rendered lifesaving aid at the scene. He was transported and later died as a result of his injuries.
This incident remains under investigation.
