The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a Flood Warning until 7 am Friday for Danville, Martinsville, Pittsylvania County, and Henry County.

Some of the rivers and areas impacted include:

Pigg River Near Sandy Level affecting Pittsylvania County.
Dan River Near Wentworth affecting Rockingham County.
Dan River at the sewage treatment plant near Danville affecting Caswell, Pittsylvania, Rockingham and City of Danville, and independent cities.
Dan River at South Boston affecting Halifax County.
Dan River at Paces affecting Halifax County.
