Virginia State Police is investigating after a car crashed into a home in Franklin County on Tuesday night. Seven people were injured in the crash, including children.

The crash occurred at 8:51 pm on Foggy Ridge Road.  A 2006 Ford Mustang was traveling on Foggy Ridge Road, when the vehicle ran off the roadway and into a residence.

The injured were transported to several hospitals. One adult and one juvenile are currently in critical condition. Information indicates there are no fatalities at this time.

Charges will be pending. The Virginia State Police Crash Reconstruction Team was called to assist with the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
