A man in Henry County has been arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Bobby Ronell Helms Jr. was arrested after officers found 10 grams of fentanyl and nearly one pound of cocaine during the traffic stop.

10 grams of fentanyl is equal to 1,000 lethal doses. Helms has been charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl with the intent to distribute, and driving while suspended.

Helms Jr. had been out on bond for 16 days for three charges of distribution of Schedule 1 narcotics.
