Resurfacing of the northbound lanes of Central Boulevard/Route 86 will begin this evening. The resurfacing, which will be from Flint Street to Aiken Bridge, is expected to take most of the week. The work will be done during the evenings and overnight.

The resurfacing is being administered by the Virginia Department of Transportation under the State of Good Repair program. Boxley Materials Company is the contractor.
