
The City of Danville and the River District Association have partnered to launch a new interactive online story map entitled “Historic Sites of the River District.”
According to River City TV, the new application includes a QR Marker program where QR codes will be placed at locations throughout the district that document facts, persons, events, and places allowing users to explore the history of each structure and its contribution to the development and sustainability of the City of Danville’s River District.
The city also has 50 markers in the West End Historic District. There are 25 new markers in the River District.
