The Henry County Animal Control Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman in an animal abandonment case. The female is seen abandoning two cats and leaving in a white Chevrolet Equinox. If anyone has information in regards to the female or vehicle, they are asked to contact Dep. Fain at 276-638-8751.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office would also like to inform the public that abandoning animals is a crime under the Code of Virginia. Should anyone want to know the legal way of giving up ownership of an animal we encourage them to call the Henry County Animal Shelter at 276-656-4266.
