The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is now housing all its inmates at the new jail opened earlier this year. Officials tell ABC13 staffing issues resulting from Martinsville’s decision not to go through with reversion was one of the factors in keeping inmates held in other jails across the commonwealth. Between the jail opening in March and now the county racked up a bill of over $540,000 to house inmates.
