Pittsylvania County officials issued an update on constructing 3 new trash convenience centers. The new center on Climax Road is expected to open within a month once a compactor arrives. The new center in Level Run is expected to open later this summer once a compactor and pole lights arrive. The third new center on Meadow Ridge Court is expected to become operational in June of 2023. The financing for these projects is being covered by contracts with outside trash haulers.
