The Danville City Schools 2022-2023 budget is now finalized. According to the Star-Tribune the city council signed off on the $88.7 million package which includes a boost in state funding due to an enrollment increase. Teachers will see an average 5% pay raise but the final amount won’t be known until the General Assembly finalizes the state budget. The spending plan also includes more spending for mental health, programs to boost attendance.
