Rockingham Community College reports they were hit with a ransomware attack late last month. According to Rockingham Now the college’s technology department responded immediately to the attack by working with a task force, which included local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. RCC officials say there’s no evidence of an unauthorized release of any data from its servers. The cyberattack did not impact the final week of classes.
