There was a strong turnout for Danville’s annual Bridge2Bridge event, which supports the Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association. Saturday’s event included a 5k and 10k run, a 5k walk, a 1 mile fun run for kids 10 and under plus a 20, 40 and 60 mile bike ride. Officials say more than 500 people were registered.
