Governor Glenn Youngkin on Wednesday, announced that he will donate his salary for the first three months of the year to the Virginia Law Enforcement Assistance Program, which is dedicated to helping law enforcement officers and first responders who have dealt with traumatic critical incidents in the line of duty in their personal lives. The governor said it reaffirms his ongoing commitment to support our men and women in law enforcement with mental health resources, training, and equipment to ensure that we are serving those that protect our communities across the Commonwealth.
