GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three people are being sought by Greensboro police after they stole a car with an 11-month-old baby inside, prompting an Amber Alert.

The boy was taken from the Great Stops gas station off West Market Street around 9 p.m. Monday. Police say someone stole the family’s black 2015 Chevy Malibu with the child inside. The car and the baby were found about five hours later in High Point but the suspects remain at large.

Greensboro Police have released a surveillance photo of two of the suspects and are hoping to identify them. Investigators confirmed that three people were involved.

The trio is believed to be driving in a black Nissan with Georgia tags.
