
DANVILLE, Va. — Danville Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting last month that left one person wounded.
Two individuals were victims of an aggravated assault when someone shot into their vehicle in the early morning hours of February 24. The shooting victim was the driver, a 25-year-old Danville man, who was struck multiple times. The passenger entered the driver’s seat and drove the injured man to the Sovah Health emergency room, where he was listed in stable condition.
Investigators learned the shooting happened in the 2900 block of West Main Street. They identified a person of interest found in surveillance footage who was a passenger in a dark-colored Nissan Altima with no front license plate.
