DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Police are investigating a shooting that left a 28-year-old Danville man injured.

Police were called to Applebee’s in the 400 block of Old Mount Cross Road at 12:27 a.m. Tuesday. They found a gunshot victim. He reportedly refused to go to the hospital was treated at the scene for a superficial gunshot wound. Investigators had no description of a suspect in the shooting and ask anyone with information to call the Danville Police Department at 434-793-0000.

Police had yellow crime scene tape around the parking lot and brought a K9 to search the area. Stray bullets struck several cars in the Applebee’s parking lot.
