MEBANE, N.C. – Some scary moments for employees of a North Carolina bank as three masked men armed with shotguns and semi-automatic weapons robbed a teller in Mebane, North Carolina Wednesday.

Officers got to the Wells Fargo Bank on South Fifth Street just after 4:15 Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses say three men wearing masks charged the bank with handguns and shotguns demanding money. One gunman is about 5’7”. He was wearing a “Scream” mask, tan Carhartt jacket, light color pants, white tennis shoes, yellow gloves covering his hands, and was carrying a small semi-automatic handgun.

The second is about 6’4” and had a white mask covering his entire face, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood covering the head, dark pants and shoes, and yellow gloves covering his hands. Police say he was wielding a shotgun.
