Rockingham County, N.C. – Rockingham County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for Jordan Lamar Dickerson in connection with an early morning shooting in Ruffin, N.C.

Sheriff’s investigators say 40-year-old Deontae Deshawn Harden was shot multiple times by Dickerson while he was trying to leave 113 Trailer Drive in his vehicle around 12:30 a.m. The shooting followed a fight between the two men. Harden is undergoing treatment at an undisclosed hospital for life-threatening injuries.

Dickerson is 28 and faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury; two counts of second-degree kidnapping; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and two counts of assault by pointing a gun. He is considered armed and dangerous.
