(Reidsville, N.C.) — A second Reidsville man has been charged in a 2016 Christmas Eve homicide.

Rockingham County investigators have charged 34-year-old Timothy Lyne Bailey with second-degree arson and concealing the death of Jerry Lacy Pulliam. Pulliam, 45, was found dead inside a burned home on Brooks Road on Dec. 24, 2016.

Sheriff’s investigators and the fire marshal determined that Pulliam was killed prior to the arson of the residence from means unrelated to the fire.

Bailey is being held in the Rockingham County Detention Center under a $40,000 bond and is set to appear in court on June 5th.

Earlier this month, 53-year-old William Lloyd Bartlett pleaded guilty in Rockingham County Superior Court to second-degree murder in Pulliam’s death.
