(Martinsville, Va.) — A black glove left at the crime scene has led to a robbery indictment in Henry County.
A grand jury has indicted 29-year-old Carlos Deangelo Clark of Eden in connection with the armed robbery of Loan Max Title Loans in Martinsville, Virginia more than three years ago.
An employee told police a man entered the loan office on April 8, 2016. He was carrying a handgun and demanded money. He handed another teller a plastic bag and ordered her to fill it with cash. The gunman fled on foot with about $540.
Video surveillance footage showed the man was wearing black gloves and orange shoes. A glove matching those seen in the video was found in the parking lot and was linked to Clark through DNA.
He is charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and use of a firearm in the commission of robbery.
