(Pittsylvania County, Va.) — A vehicle struck a horse Sunday evening in the Blairs community of Pittsylvania County.

Dispatchers received the call about 7:40 pm Sunday and confirm that the accident happened in the 6500 block of US Route 29.

Only one vehicle was involved and it is not known at this time whether anyone inside the car was injured.

There was also no word on the condition of the horse.
