(Danville, Va.) — No one was injured when a car struck an apartment building in the 100 block of Levelton Street.

The Danville Fire Department responded and crews found a vehicle had hit a two- story apartment building, causing structural damage to the exterior wall.

Firefighters from two companies and the department’s Technical Rescue Team worked to stabilize the damaged wall and porch.

The Red Cross is assisting the occupants of the damaged apartment who were forced out of their home.
