(Danville, Va.) — Power crews have been working in the Dry Fork Rd, Oak Grove Rd, Pine Lake Rd, Berry Hill Road, and Moorefield Bridge Road areas this afternoon; however,  new outages have occurred as repairs were being made.

Additional crews from other cities are helping, but linemen do not expect to have everyone’s service restored tonight. It is expected that 200-300 customer outages will not be resolved overnight.

Crews will be working through the night, but restoration efforts become more difficult after dark.
