(Danville, Va.) – Reidsville Police have charged a family member in a shooting Wednesday that left two siblings dead and their mother in critical condition.

42-year-old Tommy James Stout is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill. He is being held without bond and police said more charges are pending.

Police responded to a home on Lawsonville Avenue Wednesday for a call of a stabbing and a shooting. They found Madge Sizemore, 43, and David Sizemore, 49, dead just before 11 a.m. Their mother, 73-year-old Judy Sizemore, was injured and is in critical condition in a hospital. All three lived at that residence.

Police have not released a motive in the slayings.
