(Danville, Va.) — A 14-year-old Danville girl faces a felony charge following a weekend post on Instagram.

Danville Police say the message contained shooting threat involving a local school. Police investigated and found no evidence she intended to carry out that threat at Bonner and Westwood Middle Schools.

She’s charged with threatening death or bodily harm to persons on school grounds, which is a Class 6 felony.
