(Danville, Va.) — Danville Police have finally located a 17-year-old murder suspect.

Rashawn Wa-heim Bennett was arrested just before noon Thursday at the Clear Pond Apartments on Chatelaine Ave.

He is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and is being held in the W.W. Moore Detention Center.

Police have been looking for Bennett for several months in connection with a 2017 homicide.
