(Danville, Va.) – Danville Police are looking for the man they say robbed the Joy Food Store on West Main Street earlier this month.

29-year-old Bobby Lee Keith, III is charged with armed robbery and use of a firearm in a felony.

A man wearing a Halloween mask and a gray hoodie entered the convenience store on West Main Street about 9:48 on the morning of Sept.14 and pointed a handgun at a male employee who was stocking the shelves. The gunman demanded money and fled on foot after getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

The robber was wearing a mask, black tennis shoes, gray sweat pants and hoodie, a white sweater and a white glove on his right hand.

Anyone with information on Keith’s whereabouts is asked to call Danville Crime Stoppers at 793-0000. Keith should be considered armed and dangerous.
