(Danville, Va.) — Parks in Danville have reopened after the floodwaters associated with Tropical Storm Florence began to recede.

The Riverwalk Trail reopened Wednesday morning with signs to warn walkers and runners of hazards from mud. Sections of the trail still had some standing water on them.

Anglers Park and Dan Daniel Memorial Park will reopen Thursday morning.
