(Danville, Va.) — The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a Flash Flood WARNING for Danville, Martinsville and southern Pittsylvania and Henry Counties through 10:45 tonight. A warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

The Flash Flood Warning was issued because additional heavy downpours are expected tonight and again tomorrow.

Those in flood-prone areas are advised to seek higher ground. Do not attempt to cross rain covered roads.
