(Danville, Va.) — Electric utility crews are making good progress on replacing the utility pole and cross arms at the intersection of Westover Drive and Woodlawn Drive. The estimate for restoration of power remains 8 p.m.

Westover Drive will remain blocked to through traffic until pole replacement is complete. Traffic is being detoured at Ingram Road and Church Avenue.

Residents on Brown Lane and Woodlawn Drive are being allowed access in and out from the west. Residents on Oakhaven Drive are being allowed access in and out from the east.

Public Works personnel are on site to direct traffic.
