(Chatham, Va.) — A Danville man is being sought after he failed to appear in a Chatham courtroom Thursday, where he was scheduled for trial on two robbery charges and two counts of assault and battery.

The Chatham Star Tribune reports that Austin Michael Jones is now listed as a fugitive from justice.

Jones was set to appear in court Thursday and will now be charged additionally with failure to appear. He also failed to appear on May 23 for those same charges.

Jones is charged with a pair of robberies that date back to August of last year.
