(Danville, Va.) — A Danville man entered guilty pleas Monday to felony charges stemming from a fatal accident on the Mount Cross Road.

The Danville Register and Bee reports that 54-year-old Everett Nelson Wilson pleaded guilty to felony aggravated involuntary manslaughter, DWI maiming, DWI for cocaine and possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon.

Wilson was the driver of a car that crashed on Mount Cross Road on the afternoon of September 13. He lost control of the Lincoln and struck a Jeep SUV. A passenger in his car, Kelly Michelle Ferguson, died in the wreck, which blocked traffic for several hours.

Wilson faces a possible prison sentence of almost 20 years.

The pleas were entered in Danville Circuit Court.
