(Danville, Va.) – An arrest has been made in a Danville stabbing.

53-year-old Larry Darnell West of Danville has been charged with malicious wounding following an incident that happened Wednesday evening in the 30 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Danville Police responded at around 6:00 p.m. and found a 38-year-old Halifax man suffering from stab wounds to his chest and stomach.

The victim was transported to SOVAH Health’s Emergency Department, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

West was arrested shortly after the stabbing. He is currently in the Danville City Jail, here West is being held without bond.
