(Rockingham County, N.C. – The Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office has decided to drop 22 pending charges against Mickey Snow, the 76-year-old Rockingham County man charged with child prostitution.

WFMY-2 reports that charges including patronizing a prostitute, statutory rape/sex offense, second-degree forcible sexual offense, and promoting the prostitution of a minor were dismissed because of insufficient evidence.

Snow had already been charged with several related prostitution charges including six counts of sex offense with a person 15 or younger.

The District Attorney’s Office announced recently that Snow’s trial would be moved to Catawba County, where it is set to begin on February 19.
