(Danville, Va.) — A Patrick County man faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to taking more than a quarter-of-a-million dollars in disability benefits to which he was not entitled.

Under a plea deal with prosecutors, 46-year-old Mark S. Huffman agreed to repay the money to the Social Security Administration. Investigators say he was working a full-time job while collecting disability benefits.

The Martinsville Bulletin reports that Huffman entered the guilty plea in U.S. Western District Court in Danville. He will be sentenced at a later date.
