Danville, VA – After more than two weeks of testimony, a federal jury in Danville took just three hours Monday to come back with a guilty verdict in the case against Armet Armored Vehicles CEO William Whyte.  Whyte was charged with multiple counts of defrauding the government out of more than $2 million dollars by providing sub standard vehicles to be used by American military in the Mid-East. The company, which is no longer in business, was headquartered in Danville at the time the charges were brought.
