(Danville, Va.) — A large contingent of Danville Police officers converged on two areas off South Main Street Wednesday afternoon.

The SWAT team raided the car wash on South Main Street and Chatelaine Avenue, the former bottling company building across from Bentto’s Restaurant. Officers in tactical gear and with weapons were seen leading several men away in handcuffs. A number of police cruisers and the Crime Scene Unit were also at the scene.

Not far away, a half-dozen uniformed officers were searching the brush next to the Grove Park basketball court and had the area cordoned off with yellow tape.
