Justin Harris Memorial Benefit

The 13th Annual Justin Harris Memorial Benefit will be Saturday, September 3rd from 10am - 4pm at Gretna Volunteer Fire Department. The event begins with breakfast featuring $2 meal of biscuit and coffee. Lunch will be available and include choices of hot dogs, pinto beans, bbq and more.  A variety of baked goods will be available for purchase as well.  Entertainment will be throughout the day.  If you'd like to assist in providing silent auction items, baked goods or volunteer your time to work the benefit, please call Dale Bullington at 434.250.0190.

Fall Fest Fundraiser

There will be a Fall Festival Fundraiser for Dan River High Volleyball, Saturday, September 24th at Sellers Brothers (58 east) from 9am - 2pm.  Stew will be available for sell at $5 per quart. People are invited to be part of the yard sale ($5 donation to set up with seller keeping their profits from the sale) and vendors are also welcome with a $5 donation table fee! There will be a silent auction from 9am - 12pm featuring several donations from local businesses and professionals. Tucker Beathard

Tucker Beathard is the son of Nashville songwriter Casey Beathard. As a child, he played drums in a band that also included his brothers, but later moved to playing guitar instead. He attended Middle Tennessee State University with the intent of playing baseball, but after tearing his shoulder, he chose to focus on music instead.
